The Multinational Force and Observers seeks an experienced Generator Technician to supervise and manage a team of local mechanics in the operation, diagnostics, repair and maintenance of all generators. The Generator Technician will also be responsible for keeping accurate maintenance records, developing plans for generator improvement, ensuring health and safety practices and mentoring assigned subordinates.  Occasionally, he/she will be required to cover 24 hour “on call” duty and perform duties outside of normal working hours.

Experience Required

The successful candidate must have:

Recognized qualifications from Home Country in Generator Mechanical operations; 

Qualifications or experience on Caterpillar ET and Caterpillar SIS;

Minimum 10 years of proven experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role, within the industry involving Generator and Small Plant Mechanical repair;

He/she must also have excellent communication and organizational skills, be fluent in spoken and written English and proficient with MS Office Suite.
