GGGI has a diverse portfolio of programs in developing countries around the world. These in-country programs, together with global products and services, focus on delivering results through an integrated approach of evidence-based green growth planning and implementation aligned to countries' development priorities.
CONTEXT
The Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador country programs under the leadership of the Andean Representative comprise GGGI's Andean Country Programs. The Andean Countries Programs manage around 15 projects related to various matters like sustainable finance, circular economy, sustainable energy, climate action, among others. The Operations Enabling Division (OED) Team works in a cross-cutting manner for the three countries to enable the operations of the projects by developing financial, administrative, procurement, and human resources tasks.
POSITION SUMMARY
Based in Bogotá, D.C., Colombia, the Finance, Administration and Procurement Senior Assistant will support GGGI Andean Country Programs mainly on financial activities to respond to requirements, rules, and systems established by GGGI and the donors. S/he will also support the Operations Enabling Division (OED) Andean team in conducting administrative, procurement, and human resources tasks in compliance with policies, rules, guidelines, decisions, and processes. S/he will report to the Finance and Procurement Associate.
PURPOSE

Carry out the budget execution monitoring and reporting of the Andean projects, understanding GGGI's rules, procedures, systems, and tools.

Support Resource Mobilization for the Andean Country programs by developing the budgets for new potential projects.

Support the OED Andean team with administrative, travel, events, procurement and human resources tasks for the Andean countries and the organization for in-person logistics of events in Colombia.
ENGAGEMENT
-
Support the OED team in fulfilling the objective of enabling the Country Offices' operations in compliance with donor conditions, GGGI's Rules and Regulations, and internal systems.

Work closely with the project team to carry out financial aspects of the program and project implementation.

Work closely with the OED team in the Latin America and The Caribbean regional office and the Head Quarters in Korea.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee compliance with GGGI's rules when carrying out Financial, Administration, Procurement, and Human Resources related processes.
DELIVERY
-
Develop and update tools to monitor the budget execution of the Andean projects.
-
Generate financial inputs to keep systems updated (for example, update the budget in the ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning).

Develop financial reports on the project execution, both internal and external, complying with established GGGI policies, standards, and donor requirements.

Construct the budgets for new potential projects with the guidance of the supervisor and project managers.

Support with administrative and travel-related tasks, ensuring these processes are fully documented.

Support the organization for in-person logistics of workshops, conferences, meetings and other events required by the projects in Colombia.

Assist procurement-related tasks to expedite the purchase of goods and services.

Support the process of hiring individual consultants (IC) to guarantee a smooth selection process. Support high-quality document management and record-keeping of project documents through GGGI's internal tools and systems.

Support regional engagement initiatives by attending in-person and virtual meetings, social events, learning opportunities, and knowledge sharing.

Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned by the Finance, Admin, and Procurement Associate.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Must be a citizen of Colombia or have a valid work permit in Colombia.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, human resources, international relations, or other related field of study.

At least 3 years of relevant experience in project financial management, events planning, or administration roles.

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel or similar.

Good proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Advanced English proficiency is required.

Ability to prepare financial reports in an organized and clear way.
-
Ability to prepare written reports and business correspondence, both in Spanish and English.
-
Experience/knowledge of green growth, climate change, and sustainable development is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS
The Finance, Administration and Procurement Senior Assistant, is an X5 grade level in GGGI’s Colombia salary scale. The base salary range for the position starts at USD 14,093 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, GGGI provides 15% of base salary towards retirement plan/long-term savings, 27 days of annual leave, and private health insurance that covers dental and vision.
