1. Project Background

The Communications department of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is responsible for developing and producing communications collateral in support of Bank initiatives to increase awareness and understanding about AIIB, its mission and impact.

2. Objectives of the Assignment

Under the direction of the Content Specialist, the Content Producer will support members of the communications team by identifying, developing and creating communications products for the AIIB@10, climate and Investor communications campaigns. The assignment is for 26 working days spread out from November 15, 2024 to April 15, 2025 (dates to be adjusted depending on date of onboarding).

3. Scope of Services

The Content Producer will: 1. Research, draft and edit blog posts, social media posts, website articles, announcements and other materials intended for print and online dissemination across various communication platforms. The drafting and editing work may require some additional research/interview process in consultation with the authors/relevant department. 2. Support the production of AIIB communication materials to reflect brand voice and key messages. 3. Ensure all written work is authentic, original and appropriately cited and/or referenced. 4. Support any other content production tasks related to communications, as required. 5. Secure and coordinate speaking opportunities and public appearances for AIIB spokespeople. 6. Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Content Specialist.

4. Consultancy Output / Deliverables

1. Produce original marketing and PR materials in English for publication by AIIB 2. Securing speaking opportunities for key bank spokespersons 2. Event coordination 3. Digital content: social media, blogs, website articles 4. Executive communications support (presentations, speeches) 5. Multimedia content (video scripts, infographics) 6. Strategic planning and analysis (content calendars, campaign reports)

5. Implementation Arrangement

- The Content Producer will need to work onsite for 60 per cent or more of contractual days. - If working remotely, the Content Producer should be responsible for their own equipment and ensure availability for any virtual meetings.

6. Support to the Consultant by the Bank

- The Content Producer will be supervised by the Content Specialist, under the overall guidance of the Director General, Communications Department. - The Content Producer will work in close collaboration with relevant business units, project team leaders, external vendors and consultants.

Qualification Requirement

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, related discipline, or relevant experience. - Strong prefer a candidate that has financial services and financial communications background. - Proven professional experience of at least three years writing and content development for international organizations or media. - Experience developing and managing a social media campaign - Experience producing and publishing and marketing publications, both digital and print - Strong research and excellent writing skills in English - Understanding of AIIB, climate finance, capital markets and development issues. - Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to manage multiple deadlines while at the same time accommodating flexibility with regard to some shifts in deadlines due to fact checking and obtaining clearances from business units and external clients and monitoring the output of several external vendors. - Able to be flexible and respond to changes to the timeline as part of the review and feedback process - Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate and work with diverse people - Participate effectively in team-based, information-sharing environment, collaborating and cooperating with others - Able to think outside the box and deliver results-oriented solutions.
