The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), established in 1956, is a multilateral development bank with a unique social mandate from its 43 member states. The CEB finances investment in social sectors, including education, health and affordable housing, with a focus on the needs of vulnerable people. Borrowers include governments, local and regional authorities, public and private banks, non-profit organisations and others. As a multilateral bank with a triple-A credit rating, the CEB funds itself on the international capital markets. It approves projects according to strict social, environmental and governance criteria, and provides technical assistance. In addition, the CEB receives funds from donors to complement its activities.

The Corporate Services Directorate (CS) delivers client-oriented, integrated services, to optimise the work environment and enable the CEB to deliver its mandate.

As a business partner, CS supports a capable workforce that is digital and connected, in an adapted and safe working environment, and with efficient travel and visa services. The Directorate comprises four Divisions: Facility & Travel Management Division (FTM), Corporate Responsibility & ESG Reporting (CRE), Information Technology (IT) and Human Resources (DHR).

The Corporate Services Directorate is looking for an intern with a transversal role who can support projects in all its four Divisions. S/he will work in close collaboration with colleagues in the different Divisions within Corporate Services and across the Bank.


Academic background:
Graduated within the past 24 months or currently enrolled in the final academic year at an institute of higher education (ideally at a Master’s level or equivalent).
Studies in business management, administration and/or business analytics, social sciences, information technology, or other related fields.

Professional background and skills:
Strong capacity to manage and coordinate projects;
Proven ability to communicate effectively across various platform;
Good drafting skills;
Proficiency with IT systems and tools.
