CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of Payroll Assistant to work in the Human Resources Unit. 

The positions will be based at CIMMYT headquarters in Texcoco, near Mexico City.

Specific duties:

  • Administration, control and follow-up of monthly and special orders of food vouchers.
  • Reconciliation of accounting accounts related to the payroll process. BSAR files
  • Registration of additions, terminations and salary modifications in the payroll system and IDSE.
  • Accounting records and settlement of balances in the D365 system.
  • Validation and control of INFONAVIT credits and Disabilities in each nominal period.
  • Control, follow-up and reconciliation of Disability and IMSS payments.
  • Filing of Occupational Risk Accident Notices before STPS.
  • The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related area.
  • The candidate must have basic knowledge in payroll activities.
  • The candidate must have basic level of English (English will be tested).
  • The candidate must have knowledge of ERP’s and Microsoft Office
  • The selected candidate must exhibit the following competencies: Critical thinking, Teamwork, Client Orientation, Problem-Solving decision-making, Negotiation, and Conflict resolution.
