The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Business Development Intern to join our Dallas office.

The Development Staff consists of the "business side" of our nonprofit. We work with recruiting interns, volunteers, donors, and community partners. In addition, we do program analyses to find where there may be gaps in services, to create a unique solution or process. This internship is great for marketing interns, business majors, journalism majors, and nonprofit developers.
In addition to learning how Development at IRC functions, each intern will select a term project to work on throughout the semester, and present at the end of their term.

Responsibilities:
Assist in managing and coordinating the volunteer and intern program, including recruitment, onboarding, and engagement.
Support the development and implementation of project plans to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the program.
Conduct research and gather data to identify potential partner organizations, sponsors, and funding opportunities.
Assist in writing program materials, including volunteer and intern guidelines, training materials, and program reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth program operations and timely execution of initiatives.
Monitor program performance, evaluate feedback, and propose recommendations for continuous improvement.
Support the organization and coordination of volunteer and intern events, workshops, and training sessions.
