BACKGROUND: The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. At work in over 40 countries and 29 U.S. cities to restore safety, dignity and hope, the IRC leads the way from harm to home. The IRC in Dallas was founded in 1973. As the largest refugee resettlement agency in Dallas, the IRC in Dallas resettles an average of 1,000 refugees into Dallas annually and provides additional services and assistance to another 2,500 refugees and asylees.

SCOPE OF CLIENT VOICES WORK: The IRC Dallas launched the Client Voice Initiative this year and this intern would be helping create processes for this Pilot Program. This initiative will work to strengthen client voices in all aspects of our work and to increase accountability to clients through creating client engagement channels and measuring client satisfaction. The Client Voices Intern will support the Initiative and will work closely with the Client Voice Coordinator to enhance the IRC Dallas's ability to measure and respond to client feedback. This position is an unpaid position and requires a minimum of 10 hours a week, with a preference of 15 hours per week, for at least three months.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Collection
Develop MS Form Survey 
Conduct Survey via phone or in- person 
Records survey results
Submits timesheets to HQ MEL Teams
Co-facilitates data check-in and data review meetings
Co- Develop action plan based on results and monitors progress
Analyze & Present Survey Results     
 Prepare Survey results for batch upload
Upload batch upload file to shared Box folder
Analyze results in the Survey data dashboards (PBI)
Co- Plan data review and action planning meeting
Communicate key findings and recommendations
Monitor Progress & Evaluate Outcomes
Develop tracking tools based on survey results
Co-Develop an Action Plan  
Evaluate the outcomes of the actions taken based on results 


Minimum Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work effectively in an environment that is multi-cultural and multilingual, experience using interpreters desired
Highly effective communication skills, emotional intelligence, and situational awareness
Highly adaptable and flexible self-starter with ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others, juggle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a demanding work environment
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Fluency in English; written and spoken.
Fluency in a primary client language is highly preferred (Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Karen, Burmese, Kinyarwanda)
Data analysis skills is highly preferred.

Working Environment: Standard hybrid office working environment, our office being in Lower Greenville in Dallas
