Since2019,IRChasimplementedAccesstoHealth-fundedprojectsinconsortium withlocalpartners aswellasLIFT-funded.Toserveastheconsortiumfocalpointfortheseprojects,IRC Myanmarisseekingaqualified, motivated, andwell-roundedSeniorGrantsManager tocarryoutgrantmanagementandcoordinationfunctions.BasedinYangon,with periodictraveltofieldsites,thispositionwillplayakeyroleinensuringeffective overallgrantsandperformancemanagement,reporting,compliance,andpartnerand donorcommunicationforIRCs UNgrants.Thispositionwillworkcloselywithproject teams andwill report to theHeadofGrants and Partnership.

Main Responsibilities

GrantsManagement,Compliance, andReporting:

  • ResponsibleforgrantcomplianceforIRCsUNgrants,providinggrants compliancesupportandguidancetotechnicalteam,MEAL,Operationsand Financecolleagues.
  • Workingcloselywithprojectleads,organizingandfacilitatingregularand effectiveprojectcyclemanagementmeetings(asperIRC’sPCMmodule)and follow-upofdonorcompliancesandgrantmanagementactionsforUNgrants. FlagkeyissuestotheHeadofGrantsandPartnershipsandDeputyDirector Programs in atimelymanner.
  • ManagecontractingandgrantamendmentsforUNgrants, coordinatingwithin-country,regionalandHQcolleaguesandcoordinatingreviewsthroughtheIRC’s onlinetrackingsystem (OTIS).
  • Serveasthefocalpointforpost-awardcommunicationsuchaspriorapproval requests withdonors,forboth IRC andpartners.
  • Ensure all grant filing on OTIS andBox shared drive and hard copy is(ifmandatory by Donor)up todate forUN grants.
  • Updategrantscomplianceguidelinedocumentsandstaysuptodatewithall institutional donor guidelines, rulesand regulations, andreporting formats.
  • Facilitateandsupportcompilation,finalizationandtimelysubmissionofquality narrativeandfinancialdonorreports,providingnarrativereportinputsas needed.
  • Supportwithrequiredamendmentprocesses,coordinatingwithpartnerships teamonrevisions in line with donorexpectations.
  • WorkingcloselywiththeHeadofGrantsandPartnerships,toleadonthe developmentofproposals,workplans,budgets,andallotherrelevant documentationfor project follow-onyears.
  • Maintaingrants tracker.

DonorandStrategicRepresentation

  • Dayto daycommunicationwith donor focalpoints
  • Playa keyrolein consortium representationwith partners, the Access toHealth FundManagement OfficeandFundManagementBoard, government authorities andotherstakeholders, asappropriate.

Other Tasks

  • At the request of the Head of Grants and Partnerships, support with other projects, if needed, not falling under responsibilities underlined in this job description.

Whatyou shouldhave?

Education

  • Bachelor's degreein relevantdiscipline.

Experiences

  • Atleast(4)years’workexperienceingrantand/orconsortiummanagementfordevelopmentoremergency programs. Previous experiencewith UNOPSor othermulti-donor funding mechanisms highlyregarded.
  • Provencapacitytocommunicate,coordinateandnegotiateamongdiversepartnersandstakeholderswithhigh negotiationskills.
  • Demonstrableunderstandingofprojectplanningandmanagementcycles.Experienceworkingwithhealthand multisectoralprojectsis considered an asset.
  • Demonstratedsuccessfulexperienceindonorreportingandcompliance,particularlyUN(UNOPSAccesstoHealth and LIFT).

Competencies

  • Flexibility to adapttochangingrequirements.
  • Ability to workwell underpressure,problem-solve and build consensus. Excellent computer skills, particularly in WordandExcel.

Language

  • Excellentprofessionalfluencyin spokenandwritten EnglishandMyanmaressential.
