To effectively meet the challenge of protecting the world’s forests, we are committed to ensuring we have the world’s most skilled people working with us. This commitment extends to everyone that works in FSC around the world: from those that lead the design of policies and standards, to those that roll out those same policies and standards on the ground, and to those that provide us with backbone to do our work.

We are looking for an engaged Chief Markets Officer who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in a multinational environment.
Your profile
The Chief Markets Officer (CMO) at FSC will be a strategic and visionary leader responsible for overseeing and executing the organization's market-focused efforts. The CMO will play a crucial role in driving the commercial success and promoting FSC’s brand, raising awareness about responsible forest management, and driving market demand for FSC-certified products globally.

The CMO will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and the FSC network to ensure the integrity, credibility, and transparency of the FSC system while creating business value for certified organizations.

The ideal candidate should possess a leadership style that aligns with the organization's purpose-driven ethos and fosters an environment where employees are motivated by a sense of purpose. In addition, the ideal candidate should be able to provide strategic direction while allowing these individuals the autonomy and space to excel in their daily business.
