The Scope
To play a pivotal role in strengthening IT governance-related capabilities while supporting the IT Project Management Office (PMO) in understanding and translating business needs into IT solutions. This role also acts as a bridge between IT and business units, ensuring alignment between IT projects and organizational objectives.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
IT Governance:
  • Develop, implement, and manage IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for consistent and efficient technology usage.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with IT governance standards through regular reviews and audits.
  • Collaborate with senior IT leaders and stakeholders to refine governance strategies and practices.
  • Promote understanding and adherence to IT governance through training, workshops, and communication initiatives.
Business Analysis:
  • Elicit and clarify business requirements using interviews, workshops, and other effective techniques.
  • Analyze and document business processes, identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into viable technical solutions.
Project Management Support:
  • Contribute to project planning, ensuring alignment with IT governance standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to facilitate successful project delivery within governance constraints.
  • Mentor and support project teams in understanding and adhering to governance practices.
Your profile
Education and Training
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Knowledge or certification in IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) is highly desirable. 
Working Experience, Style and Skills
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT governance, business  analysis, and project management support.
  • Proven track record in developing, implementing, and maintaining IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to perform well while handling simultaneously different initiatives. 
  • Service-oriented attitude to work.
  • Ability to facilitate interactive discussions.
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office 365 understanding.
  • Project Management Tools (Microsoft DevOps, Jira, Trello).
  • User Story and Backlog Management (Microsoft DevOps).
  • Standard software packages (MS Office). 
Language and Communication Skills
  • Fluency in English. 
  • Spanish and French are a plus.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. 
Others:
  • Experience in working in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, global team.
  • Experience in working in / with an NGO or Non-Profit Organization will be advantageous.

The Fine Print
  • Location: Bonn, Germany (with a hybrid work schedule)
  • Working Hours: Full-time - 40 hours per week.
  • Duration of contract: Initial 2 years contract with the intend to go open-ended.
