We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and service-oriented professional for the position of Financial Analyst, AR to develop the economic and financial analysis of the company’s investment projects, to provide real data on returns and risks and with that appropriate decisions can be made.

The position will be based at CIMMYT headquarters in Texcoco, near Mexico City.

Specific duties:

  • Cleaning accounts type E prior to running the Monthly Closing process.
  • Prepare monthly aging reports: Aging General, Aging DFS, Aging OI and Aging Miscellaneous.
  • Preparation, analysis and monitoring WS & OI reports.
  • Preparation, analysis and monitoring hosting and service agreement: ILRI, IWMI, ILSI and LOAN.
  • Update database of disseminations received for new projects and amendments.
  • Perform the cycle of identification, registration of payments and issuance of payment complements, as well as the follow-up of unidentified payments.
  • Support in monthly preparation of BSAR (11313 and 11311).
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably business management, accounting, or administration.
  • Previous experience in accounts receivable and compliance with audits for at least 2 years.
  • Intermediate level in the usage of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Advanced in the use of verbal and written English language. English may be tested, and candidate should score B2 on CEFR.
  • High level of responsibility, confidentiality, leadership and accountability.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
