ALIMA (The Alliance for International Medical Action) is an international medical humanitarian NGO based in Dakar, Senegal, which has been saving lives in emergencies and health crises in Africa for over 14 years.
ALIMA's ambition is to transform humanitarian medicine by drawing on research and innovation to increase the effectiveness of its actions and better protect populations from the health crises of tomorrow.
Since ALIMA was set up in 2009, more than 11 million patients in 14 countries have beeń treated and more than 30 research projects have beeń launched - notably on malnutrition, maternal and child health, the malaria, Ebola, the COVID-19.
Action rewarded by several international awards.
ALIMA works in partnership with national NGOs in 5 countries, a model which makes humanitarian aid more appropriate and effective in the long term, thanks to inclusive collaboration in the co-construction and joint implementation of the humanitarian response, as well as the strengthening of local capacities.
THE ALIMA TEAM: More than 2,000 people are currently working for ALIMA. The teams in the field, who are closest to the patients, receive their support from the coordination teams, which are generally based in the capital of the countries of intervention. They receive support from the 4 desk teams and the emergency and opening services team based at the operational headquarters in Dakar, Senegal. The Paris and New York teams are actively involved in fundraising and representing ALIMA.

Subject Call for expressions of interest from companies, firms or groups of companies, service providers, consultants and suppliers

The NGO ALIMA is a not-for-profit humanitarian organisation operating in several countries in the sub-region.
As part of the updating of the supplier database, it is launching this call for expressions of interest from eligible companies, firms or firms for the provision of services for one or more of the lots below:
Lot N°1: Supply of medicines
Lot No. 2: Medical supplies/Research equipment/Medical equipment
Lot 3: Customs clearance and transit services
Lot No. 4: Transport Services
Lot N°5 Catering and restaurant services
Lot 6: Office supplies and furniture (chairs, metal cupboards, etc.)
Lot N°7 : Cleaning services
Lot N°8: Security and guarding services (access control, CCTV)
Lot No. 9: Fire safety maintenance and inspection service (fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, fire control unit, manual alarm trigger, siren, sound diffuser, etc.)

Lot N°11 : Printer / photocopier rental service
Lot No. 12: Supply of water coolers and weekly delivery of mineral water bottles to the office.

Lot N°19: Training provider (designer and facilitator), and/or coaches on the following themes: Humanitarian project management, humanitarian logistics (procurement and supply, operational logistics, health logistics), financial management and accounting, human resources, security management, communication and advocacy, soft skills, etc.

➢Eligible companies, firms, groups of companies or firms meeting the qualification criteria listed in this Notice are requested to express their interest no later than 15/10/2024 at 23:59 GMT by e-mail for those outside Dakar to the address sourcing-hq@alima.ngo and by physical deposit for structures based in Dakar to the address ONG ALIMA, Route des Almadies Lot n° 22 zones 9 BP 15 530 Dakar Senegal.
Interested tenderers must provide information demonstrating that they are qualified and experienced to carry out the services described above. In this respect, they must provide evidence that they have references for recent and similar services.
More specifically, to be eligible, tenderers must provide the following information:
