The Global Green Growth Institute internship program provides a unique learning opportunity for students and recent graduates from diverse academic backgrounds. The program is designed for talented and motivated individuals skilled in areas relevant to GGGI’s operations. The program allows selected candidates to gain insight into the work of the Institute and provides assistance and training in various professional fields in a multicultural environment. We encourage qualified women and men, in particular, nationals of developing countries, with diverse professional, academic, and cultural backgrounds to apply. 

 

CURRENT OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a talented individual to work with us in the Global Green Growth Ethiopia Program office to provide operational support to the budget unit, specifically in relation to carrying out day to day activities of the budget units.


The assignment will include the followings but not limited to:

  • Assisting the project in workshop proceeding reporting, summarizing project results and report writing.
  • Assisting the project in reviewing and proof reading of reports produced by different entities including consultants,
  • Assisting project/program in taking minutes,
  • Supporting the project in procurement planning, asset management and other project administrative works,
  • Support communication related activities in preparing presentations and content creation for quarterly newsletter and social media platforms,
  • Providing administration support to ensure smooth functioning of the office and overseeing the day-to-day operations, including managing office supplies and stationaries, including the reception.
  • Assisting the office by providing secretarial services, meeting arrangement and managing calendar.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the leadership.

 

ELIGIBILITY                                     

Applicants to the GGGI internship program must at the time of application meet the following requirements:

  • Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s (final year), master’s or PhD program prior to internship assignment, or a recent graduate within the last 12 months.
  • Be engaged or recently engaged in academic study in a field directly related to the Institute’s work.
  • Possess an excellent command of English.

 

QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Secretarial Sciences, Management, Marketing, Accounting; Communication and Public Relations; or related subjects from a recognized University; master’s degree is preferred (recent graduate with in the last 12 months).
  • (Preferable) 1-2 years of relevant experience. Experience in an international organization working environment will be a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

 

SELECTION PROCESS
