RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Utilize tracking sheets to determine what language cohorts are needed for the upcoming Job Readiness
Training (JRT) course.
• Coordinate with employment specialists, financial coaches, and career pathways team to inform them of
upcoming classes and ensure they are aware of which clients need to attend.
• Organize a meeting space and the appropriate interpreter for each JRT course.
• Schedule and teach individualized job readiness training for each course
• Create a transportation list and coordinate with employment specialists to ensure transportation needs
are met.
• Input class attendance data and assessments and notify employment specialist of any non-compliance.
• Collaborate with employment specialists to identify clients in need of DART orientation.
• Attend DART Orientation with clients and educate clients on how to use the DART system to and from
their place of employment. Create detailed resumes for employable clients to prepare them for entering
the workforce.
• Host mock interviews to prepare clients for formal employer meetings.
• Assist with securing client job placements Minimum Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:
• Current university student, preferably in Social Sciences, Information Systems, or related field (relevant
experience may substitute for required degree)
• Experience with social service case management or program management software, client relationship
management, relational databases, or other information systems for client management.
• Excellent computer skills are required, especially MS Excel
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions fully and precisely are essential
• Ability to quickly learn information systems including IRIS, ETO, Integra, etc.
• Solid organizational skills: work productively and accurately while under pressure in a fast-paced,
demanding environment
• Excellent communications skills, including English fluency (written and verbal)
• Flexible work attitude: ability to work in a team and independently, and meet unexpected demands
• Experience with Office of Refugee Resettlement funded programs is a plus
