Job Overview:
Under the supervision of the Athens Sr SC Officer, the SC Assistant is responsible for supporting the delivery of efficient and effective administrative support to the IRC Country Office in Athens and Athens Program team. 
Major Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
Facilities Management & General Administration Responsibilities:
Greet and direct visitors to departments; 
Assist SC department  with filing, scanning and organizing of the office spaces;
Identify and receive requests for any needed repairs and/or supplies in office
Maintain inventory records for office supplies (stationary, cleaning and kitchen supplies, toners etc.) and promptly advise SC department of restocking needs;
Ensure all office equipment is stocked with required supplies (toner, paper etc.). Refer any maintenance required to Sr IT Officer and SC department;  
Review and verify bills received for facilities (office, houses) including utilities, maintenance, provision of standard supplies, new furniture or equipment and prepare payment requests; 
Perform all other ad-hoc duties, as and when assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English, strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to independently organize work and prioritize tasks.
Self-motivated, honest, highly responsible, and punctual.
Ability to work both; independently and as part of a team.

Promote and actively participate in initiatives and efforts to build team engagement, inclusion and cohesion in IRCGreece.
Foster ongoing learning, honest dialogue and reflection to strengthen safeguarding and to promote IRC values and adherence to IRC policies 

Work Environment and Duration of Appointment:
This is a fixed term position with the possibility of an extension. The working arrangements include a mix of in-person and hybrid work, with 1-2 days per week working remotely.
