About Just.Childhood: Just.Childhood is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on protecting the childhood of socially marginalized and traumatized children in Lebanon, particularly within Palestinian communities. Our mission is to support their right to play, learn, and develop in a safe environment. We implement a range of programs including Early Childhood Education, Psycho-social Support, and Sports for Development, all aimed at fostering a compassionate, less violent future society.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Fundraising and Partnership Development Consultant to join our team on a commission basis. This individual will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing potential donors, partners, and corporate sponsors. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the international funding community and corporate social responsibility sectors, along with exceptional communication and proposal writing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential donors, partners, and corporate sponsors who align with Just.Childhood’s mission and goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including international funders, corporate partners, and other potential supporters.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and reports to secure funding and partnerships.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with prospective donors and partners, articulating the mission and impact of Just.Childhood’s programs.
  • Achieve fundraising targets and contribute to the financial sustainability of Just.Childhood.
  • Monitor and report on progress, ensuring transparency and accountability in all fundraising activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successful fundraising and partnership development in the non-profit sector.
  • Extensive network of contacts within international funding bodies, corporate sponsors, and CSR initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated commitment to social justice, community development, and the mission of Just.Childhood.

Compensation: This is a commission-based position. The consultant will be compensated based on a percentage of the funds secured. Specific commission rates will be discussed during the interview process.
