About the Role:

As the HR Compliance Manager, you will ensure that myAgro's human resources policies and practices are in full compliance with all relevant local, regional, and international laws and regulations. You will play a key role in mitigating legal risks, fostering an ethical work environment, and promoting a culture of integrity and compliance across our global operations. You will report to the Chief People Officer.

 

You Will:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance: Monitor and interpret global labor laws and regulations to ensure company compliance. Develop, implement, and update HR procedures to align with international standards. Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Participate in policy development: Collaborate with HR and legal teams to create and enforce global HR policies. Ensure all HR practices, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and termination, comply with labor laws, and internal standards. Provide training and guidance to HR staff and management on compliance-related matters.
  • Manage risk: Identify and assess compliance risks within HR operations and develop strategies to mitigate them. Maintain a compliance risk register and ensure timely resolution of identified issues. Lead investigations into any alleged compliance violations, ensuring documentation and appropriate corrective actions.
  • Oversee employee relations: Advise on complex employee relations issues to ensure fair and legally compliant resolutions. Support the HR team in managing disciplinary actions, grievances, and disputes following company policies and legal requirements.
  • Report and document: Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities. Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities and audit findings.
  • Compliance training: Develop and deliver compliance training programs for HR staff and management. Keep the organization informed of new or changing regulations through regular updates and training sessions.

 

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR compliance (or related field), preferably in a global or multinational company.
  • In-depth knowledge of international labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) or compliance management software.
  • Fluency in English and French required.
