Project Management Assistant

Functional Setting:
Based in ICMPD WB and Türkiye Office in Ankara, and under the scope of the Interdisciplinary Portfolio, INTERLINK Project aims to provide technical and infrastructural support to support the sustainable, self-sufficient, integrated and holistic migration framework in Türkiye through strengthening visa and residence permit processes and facilitating legal and safe pathways of migration. The specific objectives of the project are to provide technical support and institutional capacity building for the establishment of well-functioning and integrated systems to ensure sustainable entry, stay and exit procedures with regards to visa policy and residence permit scheme of Türkiye, and to provide support for the standardization of the receipt and assessment of the residence permit and visa processes.
The Project Management Assistant will be responsible for providing a wide range of experienced administrative/logistical/technical support to project teams throughout the planning and implementation of project activities under the supervision of  Project Manager and in close collaboration with other members of the project team. The Project Management Assistant provides support to ensure timely and efficient administration of the project activities of the relevant components of the project by adhering to the rules and procedures of ICMPD.

Position-Specific Expertise:
▪ Experience in the organization of events, meetings, workshops etc. is an asset.
▪ Strong knowledge and understanding of project administration and implementation of activities in an international organization context is desirable.
▪ Ability to coordinate with different teams and with conflicting priorities and deadlines.

Position-Specific Qualifications and Language Skills:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in related area of work or equivalent.
▪ A minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in an international context
Proficiency (verbal/written) in English and Turkish is a requirement.​
