Purpose and Scope of Assignment
UNOPS AUMCO is seeking a talented videographer/video editor to support the production of a series of promotional features, video explainers, interviews and reportages under the guidance and supervision of the Communication Specialist. UNOPS AUMCO will also require the production of high-quality video features from the field and the editing of raw footage.
The main objective of this assignment is to produce a series of high-quality video features, interviews and reportages that promote the mission and vision of the UNOPS AUMCO. The goal is to create visually appealing and engaging content that resonates with the target audience and supports the organization's strategic communication efforts.
The videographer/editor will be responsible for the following:

On location or online filming and editing a series of promotional features and interviews with UNOPS AUMCO staff, stakeholders, partners and beneficiaries of AUMCO portfolio of projects.

Filming and editing video messages via google meet programs.

Production of high-quality video features from the field, utilizing raw footage provided by the organization.

Ensure the audio and visual quality of all the produced videos.

Collaborate with the Communication Specialist to ensure the videos meet the organization's communication goals and standards.

Adhere to deadlines for the delivery of the final videos.
The videographer/editor is expected to deliver the following:

High-quality video features, reportages, and interviews that are visually appealing and engaging to the target audience.

A series of edited interviews and video messages.

High-quality videos from the field that meet the organization's communication goals and standards.

Final video productions that are of broadcast quality.

Raw footage and edited videos on a hard drive for archiving purposes.
Timeline and Remuneration:
It is expected that the videographer/editor will be engaged on an ad-hoc/as-needed basis to support various video projects throughout the duration of the contract. However, it should be noted that the specific requirements and timelines of each project will be agreed upon in advance with the communication specialist This will ensure that the videographer/editor has sufficient time to plan and execute the project effectively, and that the client’s/UNOPS AUMCO’s expectations are met in a timely and satisfactory manner. Any changes to the agreed schedule or scope of work should be communicated promptly and clearly to the communication specialist for review and approval.
The remuneration package will be based on the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
Branding
The videographer/editor must ensure all branding, including fonts and colors, adhere to the UNOPS Brandbook and that the correct logos (of both UNOPS and any partners included in the video) have been used and correctly placed. Prior to commencing work, the videographer will be provided with examples demonstrating the appropriate placement.
Video and audio formats
Full-res final video: generally this will be horizontal format and should be no less than 1920 x 1080 pixels using standard H.264/H.265 coding for web videos or in cases of videos made specifically for social media platforms no less than 1080 x1080.
The videographer/editor must submit both subtitled and un-subtitled versions of all the videos. Subtitles will be provided by UNOPS AUMCO.
Any soundtrack music used in the videos must be properly licensed or free for commercial use. Proof of licensing or a link to the source of any free music used in the video, can be required by UNOPS AUMCO.
Additional b-roll: the videographer/editor must provide a selection of the best footage taken during production for various video materials.
Footage: the videographer/editor must provide footage in no less than 1920 x 1080 pixels in .MP4 or .MOV format, or in the format as specifically requested. Clips should be organized clearly in labeled folders.
Audio: In cases where audio has been recorded separately, please merge audio tracks with the relevant footage. This should be done using editing software and exported at the highest quality. Project files may also be submitted containing linked audio and video clips.
Shoot notes: A text document in language specified containing information about shot locations, people interviewed and activities shown.
