Job Description

The Resettlement Support Center Asia (RSC Asia), funded by the US State Department Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM), assists persons throughout Asia seeking permanent resettlement in the United States. Responsible for a portfolio of 37 countries, RSC Asia: prepares refugee applications for the United States Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) using START (a State Department–managed data system that supports the arrival and resettlement of refugees through technology); provides information to resettlement agencies about arriving refugees and offers cultural orientation training to refugees bound for the United States. RSC Asia is based in Bangkok, Thailand, with a sub-office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh.

Job Overview/Summary:
The Reports Manager is an integral part of the RSC Asia Pipeline and Reports team. The position is responsible for the daily management of the reports team and ensures high standards of both general processing and casework services through reports design, analysis and coordination with the RSC leadership team and the Refugee Processing Center (RPC). The position assists RSC leadership and staff to ensure the data in START is accurate.


Major Responsibilities:
•Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of current PRM, RPC/START policy guidance.
•Lead Senior Reports Officer Tableau reports creation ensuring that all meet current training/quality control needs and are compliant to the latest USRAP Processing Guides and Integrity and Compliance Guide.
•In close coordination with the Senior Reports Manager, lead Tableau database analysis and escalation of any problems identified to the Quality Control Manager.
•Plan the monthly reports calendar and Senior Reports Officer workload management/assignments. Lead regular reviews of the calendar with Coordinators to reduce unnecessary and/or outdated reports distribution.
•Oversee Reports team response, analysis and subsequent guidance provided to RSC teams on current and newly requested filter needs, ensuring that all are based on the most recent USRAP policy guidance.
•Lead support for Senior Reports Manager management of Tableau reporting to external partners, inclusive of UNHCR, PRM, RMA and the Australian Department of Homeland Affairs (DoHA).
•Lead SRO advanced preparation for RPC Tableau audits.
•Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed by RSC SMT/SLT.
•Lead RSC outreach to RPC to facilitate Tableau license management for RSC Asia Tableau users.
•Ensure current Tableau users have access to needed reports in Tableau based on their job functionality.
•Monitoring and maintaining the functionality of the CASI database; monitoring for anomalies and facilitating onward IT and/or QC Manager coordination accordingly.
•Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education:
•University degree in relevant field

Work experience:
•At least Five years of relevant data management experience required.
•Minimum one-year cumulative project management experience, including managing reports and allocating work, is required
•Previous USRAP experience and/or resettlement an asset.
•Previous people management experience advantageous.

Language and Computer Skills:
•Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
•Proficiency in database management, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
•Experience with Service Now and Tableau preferred.
•Knowledge of START and the U.S Refugee Admissions Program preferred.
•Able to run and read high level spreadsheets and do advanced data analysis with a high level of attention to detail.
•Able to type 40 words per minute.

The position is currently based in Bangkok in an urban office environment.
