Junior Data Analyst

As part of ICMPD’s Migration and Mobility Dialogue Support Programme (MMD III), the Junior Data Analyst is responsible for providing technical input in areas such as data lifecycle management, data collection, partner engagement, data product preparation, presentation delivery, and user interface creation for data consumption. S/he ensures data quality and consistency, collaborates closely with internal ICMPD team members and external stakeholders, and prepares data products such as reports and communication materials. S/he prepares and presents data findings to various audiences and creates user-friendly interfaces for data consumption. S/he contributes directly to the JVAP Follow Up’s mission of fostering an African and European partnership for solidarity and shared responsibility, enhancing its effectiveness and impact.

The overall objective of MMD III is to support the orderly, safe, regular and responsible migration and mobility of people within Africa, and between Africa and Europe. MMD III is part of the Joint Africa-EU Strategy. The project supports the ICMPD-facilitated migration dialogues Rabat Process, Khartoum Process, and the AU-EU Continent-to-Continent Migration and Mobility Dialogue, and follows up on the Joint Valletta Action Plan (JVAP). Via competitive grants, it also supports selected initiatives of local authorities, CSOs and diaspora organisations. 

The Junior Data Analyst works under the direct supervision of the Head of Pan-African Initiatives and in close cooperation with the JVAP FU Project Officer. ​
