CLINICAL MANAGER: AROGYA PROJECT, MITRA TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATION

Requirement

Graduate / PG in medical sciences, preferably doctors with experience in health / management / social work. The person should have experience of conducting deliveries and training midwives.
Good communication, writing and management skills
Adequate knowledge of computer operations, especially MS Office
Creative and Enterprising
Ability to drive would help

Responsibilities:

The Clinical Manager is expected to assist the Program Manager in multi-faceted ways, among them are:

Assessment of all ANMs at block level for knowledge, skills and practices for safe delivery. Highlighting critical gaps that need to be covered through training & mentoring.
Create an annual training calendar for the training of ANMs along with the Nurse Mentor.
Conduct and guide classroom and web-based training of ANMs in the region with safe delivery practices.
Guide the Nurse Mentors in the project.
Assist ANMs in conducting deliveries where needed.
Liaise with relevant members of the public health sector.
Coordinate with external agencies.
Plan and implement a calendar of medical camps in coordination with partner agencies and independently with a focus on NCDs (Diabetes and Hypertension), ensuring screening, treatment, referrals and follow-up and generation of awareness in the community on prevention and management of diseases.
Oversee monthly monitoring, timely compilation, analysis and submission of reports of the project to the Program Manager.
Oversee aspects of Administrative and Financial management of the clinical part of the project.
