The recruitment policy of the WTO is to seek to attract and retain staff members offering the highest standards of competence, efficiency and integrity. As an Equal Opportunities Employer, the WTO gives full regard to merit and diversity.

Due to Gina Powell's extended sick leave, John Clerigo is acting on her behalf as Chief of Client Services Section, while Hader is assuming John's role as Systems and Operations Engineer. Hader is fully integrated in the user support and day-to-day operations of the section.

Gina's extended sick leave is confirmed to continue for several months. Directly replacing her with a temporary solution is not feasible, as it would require a replacement at an exceptionally high level.

The envisaged responsibilities for the temporary assignment are still the same as before:

  • Hader is providing day-to-day support and operations in the Section what is referred to as second level support of cases not possible to handle by our Service Centre in the context of Client Services.
  • Hader is coordinating the handover of all envisaged support and service request areas within IT Services Branch to Service Centre. This requires the restructuring of data, assigning permissions, creating Standard Operational Procedures, training of Service Centre and validation of the handover by Service Centre. Hader made substantial progress in 2023, several SOP's are in the queue for handover. However, Service Centre cannot deal with any further load.

As stated above: second level support and day‑to‑day operations for all services in the Client Services Section.
