Overview
Jhpiego, through the HPV Vaccination Acceleration Program Partners Initiative (HAPPI) Project, aims to increase and sustain equity, program quality, and accelerate coverage of HPV vaccine to support the goal of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) to immunize 86M girls and adolescents by 2025. This endeavor contributes to the WHO Global Strategy for the Acceleration of Elimination of Cervical Cancer as Public Health Problem through primary prevention.
In the Philippines, Jhpiego works with the Department of Health (DOH) to advance country commitments to the global elimination strategy through: (1) building evidence to support strengthened implementation of HPV vaccination, improved vaccine service delivery and coverage; and, (2) targeted operational support to the DOH’s National Immunization Program.
Jhpiego seeks qualified individual to provide services in the production of Cervical Cancer Primary Prevention Advocacy Video
Required Qualifications
- Undertake the process documentation for the upcoming Cervical Cancer Elimination SBCC National Strategic Planning Workshop;
- Develop documentation tools and template for the Cervical Cancer Elimination SBCC National Strategic Planning Workshop;
- Draft and submit: full process documentation report, topline report, and technical brief;
- Work closely with Awareness and Demand Generation Officer to carry out revisions proposed by the HAPPI technical team.
Level of Efforts - 7 days
Preferred Qualifications
- Higher Education in the areas of communications, literature or humanities, public health, social science, social work, or community development
- Have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in knowledge management and adaptive learning in the fields of women’s sexual and reproductive health (SRH), adolescent health, health workforce development, public health administration and/or health systems strengthening
- Strong verbal and written skills in the English language
- Familiar with the use of prescribed style guidelines
- Prior experience in health communications, women’s SRH, adolescent health, public health systems strengthening, and understanding of country’s public health landscape is an advantage.
