Overview

Jhpiego is seeking services of qualified vaccinator for the “Flood Emergency Response Project” to be implemented in 04 districts of Sindh.  The project aims to provide healthcare (curative and primary healthcare) services to the population residing in flood affected areas through mobile camps and static centers by adopting integrated approach with other programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Immunization services to the displaced population in selected areas through mobile camps and static centers.
  • Conduct community awareness sessions on immunization, VPD and child health. formulate male support groups which include religious leaders, community influencers, youth representatives in community to promote immunization.
  • Promote vaccination against COVID-19.
  • Keep close liaison with government departments.
  • Work closely with local vaccinator and EPI office to enhance routine immunization, reaching refusals and zero dose children.
  • Maintain data and keep record of children under 5 years.

Required Qualifications

  • Qualified Dispenser or diploma in nursing or medical technologist.
  • 2-3 years of experience as vaccinator will be required.
  • Must be resident of allocated district
  • Experience in similar role will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in local language and strong report writing skills
