Leveraging Non-Linear Work Experience in the International Development and Humanitarian Sector

When professionals come to see me for a career transition coaching, I keep hearing from them the same usual statement “my CV is a patchwork, I don’t know if I will make it through to the development sector” 

My answer to them is: “have you seen how beautiful a patchwork looks like when finished. It is unique. Let’s work on your uniqueness to make sense of your journey”

However, the skills and experiences you have gained in different industries can be highly valuable in this sector.
