Latin America and the Caribbean have achieved significant economic, labour market and social progress in recent decades, even if inequality still is a significant issue. By the end of 2021, the vast majority of countries' GDPs had recovered to pre-crisis levels, but in many cases, employment levels remained lower. The crisis triggered by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic hit women’s employment harder, leading to a reversal in their participation rate equivalent to more than 18 years of rise. This unique career event is curated to aid the Impact sectors' recruitment efforts in both geographic representation and diversity.
It is widely recognized that the development and humanitarian sectors struggle to attract truly diverse talent. Many international organizations recruit from the same list of universities and networks that tend to lack significant racial and ethnic diversity. Tapping directly into talent from low-income and marginalized communities is one step towards a truly diverse and inclusive workforce.

Who should attend?
Highly qualified and motivated multilingual nationals from Latin America and The Caribbean, pursuing a career with a positive impact. You must be a national from a country within the LAC region to attend this event and have a good grasp of English.

Essential criteria below to join this career fair:
- 2+ years of relevant international experience
- a Post-graduate degree (Bachelor's considered with more work experience)
- you must be a national from a country within the LAC region to attend this event
- multilingual - Good Grasp of English - fluency in Spanish/French/Portuguese is desirable
