Belize Bird Rescue

White River Fish Sanctuary

The White River Fish Sanctuary is a designated special fishery conservation area off Ocho Rios on Jamaica’s north coast. It extends 3.62 km/2.25 mi and covers 150-hectares/372 acres of coral reef and seagrass meadows. The White River Fish Sanctuary was featured in Harper’s Baazar last year for its efforts in coral gardening.

The Bahamas Alliance For Animal Rights and Kindness (Baark) carries out a spay/neuter program and education projects to reduce the homeless animal population and end the suffering of dogs and cats in the Bahamas.

Global Sanctuary for Elephants

Global Sanctuary for Elephants (GSE) exists to create vast safe spaces for captive elephants, where they are able to heal physically and emotionally. Brazil was chosen as the location for GSE’s pilot project to ensure that the growing number of elephants displaced by ongoing bans on performing animals across South America would be guaranteed compassionate care in an appropriate habitat.
