Unit Head, Traditional Medicine Digital Health Applications (TDH) P5 - Closing: 20th August
The Unit Head (TDH) will provide technical policy and advice to strengthen the Global Traditional Medicine Centre's (TMC) programme related to Traditional Medicine Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence Applications (TDH). This work will be done in collaboration with the WHO Department of Digital Health and Innovation, WHO Regional and Country Offices, other UN and international counterparts, partners, and stakeholders. The goal is to create new policies and strategies to address global needs and facilitate the use of digital applications in the development and access to Traditional Medicine (TM) knowledge, goods, and services.
Unit Head, Traditional Medicine Indigenous Knowledge & Biodiversity (TIB) P5 - Closing: 20th August
The Unit Head (TIB) will provide technical policy and advice to strengthen the Global Traditional Medicine Centre's (TMC) programme related to Traditional Medicine, Indigenous Knowledge, and Biodiversity (TIB). This work will involve consultations with WHO Regional Offices, other UN bodies, and international partners. The aim is to create new policies and strategies to address global needs and promote equitable access to the benefits of Indigenous Knowledge while sustaining biodiversity.
Unit Head, Traditional Medicine PHC & UHC (TPU) P5 - Closing: 20th August
The Unit Heads (TPU) will provide technical policy and advice to strengthen the Global Traditional Medicine Centre's (TMC) programme related to Traditional Medicine (TM) in health systems. Their goal is to realize UHC using a data-driven Primary Health Care (PHC) approach. They will lead the development and implementation of policies and strategies to integrate TM into Routine Health Information Systems (RHIS), enhance TM-specific population-based surveys, and develop and monitor relevant indicators.
Unit Head, Traditional Medicine Global Summit & Collaborations (TGS) P5 - Closing: 20th August
The Unit Head (TGS) will promote international collaboration for the Global Traditional Medicine Center (TMC). This includes organizing the biennial global summit, political engagement, and strengthening global networks. They will work closely with WHO Headquarters, Regional and Country Offices, other UN agencies, international counterparts, partners, and stakeholders.
Technical Officer (Traditional Medicine Research and Evidence) P4 - Closing: 20th August
The Technical Officer will support WHO’s research in traditional, indigenous, complementary, and integrative medicine (referred to as Traditional Medicine or TM) at the Global Traditional Medicine Centre (TMC). They will assist the Unit Head of Traditional Medicine Research and Evidence (TRE) and contribute to various research projects. This role involves supporting the use of existing and new research, evidence synthesis, and knowledge translation. The Technical Officer will provide technical expertise in using and developing inclusive, multi-disciplinary research methods appropriate for TM, and contribute to integrating this research into national health policies and systems based on the highest quality evidence.
Technical Officer (Global Summit & Collaborations) P3 - Closing: 20th August
The Technical officer will facilitate cross-cutting technical projects and products that support the Global Summit, and the Centre's work overall, with skills related to technical reviews, project management, collaborative approaches, partner engagement, and developing related information materials for diverse stakeholders.
