The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) is delighted to offer a free webinar on “Inside the UN - Careers, Training, and Volunteering Opportunities”.  

It is designed for mid-career and junior professionals, university students, and people from all walks of life who are interested in working for the United Nations or other organizations dedicated to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  

This webinar will provide a “behind-the-scenes” look at the UN,  how it operates, and outline a series of concrete steps anyone can take in order to join the organization and/or are looking for ways in to begin or advance their careers in their desired field. It will also provide an overview of training and volunteering programmes within the UN.

Participants will also be able to see parts of the historic Palace of Nations, and the seat of the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), from inside.
