For over 75 years, the British Red Cross has supported the NHS and provided a lifeline for vulnerable individuals. We’re now expanding our health and social care services in the South West of England, increasing the number of people we support, and income generated.
What will a day in the life of the Business Development Support Officer involve?
- Supporting the Business Development Manager with business expansion plans and actions. This might include research, analysis, and strategy development.
- Managing administrative functions of contract processes. Ensuring internal tools, such as our contract management system is up to date.
- Ensuring all documentation is kept up to date and available when required, including IT systems.
- You will be expected to act as the day-to-day point of contact in their absence. Where you offer resilience to the wider team.
This role can be remote or hybrid from one of our offices across the South West of England. Travel will be required around the region, so a manual UK driving licence is needed.
What do you need to be a successful Business Development Support Officer?
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with an ability for prioritising your workload against competing deadlines.
- Ability to deliver clear communications both written and verbally.
- Administrative experience within process driven team.
- Experience delivering high quality service ensuring close attention to detail.
- Sound working knowledge of databases and Microsoft 365.
