Role Description
This position will be accountable for the entire recruitment life-cycle and will be responsible to attract and hire qualified candidates who align to KEF mission. S/He will be required to work with the hiring managers to guide, support, and challenge them during the recruitment process. 
 
About KEF:
Kotak Education Foundation’s (KEF) mission is to support children and youth from underprivileged families through different education based interventions to rise above the poverty line and lead a life of dignity through sustainable processes. KEF works with some of India's most economically underprivileged communities, attempting to alleviate poverty through education and livelihood programs.
 
KEF works with multiple regional language government-aided private institutions. These schools have been set up by social entrepreneurs and lack quality teaching, infrastructure and leadership. Through its various programs across education, innovative healthcare and livelihood training programs, the foundation supplements the efforts of these schools to improve their conditions.
 
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a recruitment and talent strategy to support the concerned intervention’s annual operating plan & targets;
  • Engage in manpower planning and forecasting, collaborate with Interventions and hiring managers to source talent in advance of open positions;
  • Organize, plan and manage the entire life cycle of recruitment from sourcing candidates to on boarding utilizing the budgeted resources to deliver consistent and timely results;
  • Drive improvements to recruitment policies and processes to ensure a streamlined, effective, and high quality services are delivered, and provide regular recruitment metrics and report on progress;
  • Present thoughtful, meaningful and creative metrics and the interpretation and application of the results in consultation with Senior Manager HR & Head HR
  • Effective usage of recruitment module of ZingHR
  • Identify targeted advertising opportunities, design all recruitment forms and recruitment materials;
  • Provide support & assistance in interview strategy
  • Ensure recruiters and hiring managers have a clear mutual understanding of staffing policies, practices, processes and priorities;
  • Collaborate and liaise with HR Operations team for operational and strategic initiatives including; new hire processing of documentation, on boarding, Technical Induction, HR Induction etc.
  • Proactively build KEF’s talent pipeline and network of potential candidates by identifying, screening interviewing and assessing candidates and by creating a presence at career fairs, on-line and other virtual locations;                                                                                                        
Candidate Specifications:
 
Educational Qualification
Graduation / Post graduation in any discipline from a Tier-I educational institute. Candidates with an MBA (HR specialization) will be given added weightage
Years of
Experience  
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience out of which minimum 3 years’ experience is in education based NGO / Foundation Trust. Alternatively, the candidate should possess equivalent experience in a leading executive search firm

Working conditions
There are two week offs & Sunday offs in a month apart from casual and privilege leaves. This job will also involve working in challenging community areas with infrastructural and other disadvantages.
